GERARDO DISCEPOLO APPOINTED PRESIDENT/CEO OF GEMSTONE
Bob McKinley remains with Brookstone
Elkhart, Ind., March 20, 2006 – Brookstone Partners has appointed Dr. Gerardo Discepolo president and CEO of Gemstone Musical Instruments. Discepolo joined the Gemeinhardt Company in March of 2005 as executive vice president of marketing and product development. Robert McKinley will join Brookstone Partners as an operating partner, and will remain on the Gemstone Board of Directors.
Brookstone Partners is a private equity company that grows its investments through working closely with management teams. Finding operational talent to complement their financial expertise is a key component of the Brookstone success strategy.

Discepolo’s credentials include an MBA, a masters of music degree and an advanced degree in flute performance.
