The Trevor J. James & Co. continuous testing process

Trevor J. James & Co. invite a constant stream of players and teachers to their Lenham headquarters to undertake a series of blind and defined product testing. We are very interested to see how players view the Trevor J. James instruments compared to their competitors when the testing is done completely blind and without knowledge of which brand is being played. The players are therefore making comments on what they actually feel, hear, like or dislike when they play each instrument and are not prejudiced by a particular brand name. We also undertake defined product testing where we will invite players along to test and comment on instrument prototypes and new developments before they reach the music shop. This enables us to hone the developments so that they are beneficial to the musician rather than being pure marketing speak.
